We were recently tasked with helping our client come up with an innovative solution to the old death by PowerPoint presentation. Five different presenters wanted to paint a cohesive, engaging and memorable story for an internal audience on a major strategic initiative that encompassed everything from: the Business Environment, Financial Statistics, Sales and Marketing initiatives, Challenges, HR Achievements and People information, Government initiatives, Customer Statistics as well as the organisation’s mission and values.
Conventional tools, such as PowerPoint, Keynote or Prezi just weren’t going to cut it as an effective piece of communication – but what about applying the principles of a PowerPoint build with the power of distilling the key information into visually appealing, bite size graphics? What we created was a huge jigsaw puzzle infographic that was printed on screenboard at 1500x2000mm & mounted on the wall in a meeting room. Each of the presenters had the opportunity to talk to their piece in detail before the next presenter added and addressed another piece to the puzzle. The end result was a comprehensive, colourful and captivating story bought together before the audiences eyes! Here’s how the final story came together.
